Bottle says on it "Good for Leather". Uh huh. Sure it is. Bought this for my the "dress sneakers" I have to wear to work. Decided to try it on my work boots first. Did one small panel and it removed the color. My coffee colored boots now have an orange-ish Mars like hue on a quadrant in the upper. Yeah, that looks good. Not. The other product I bought at the same time as this, some wipes, has worked GREAT on my dress sneakers (and the rest of the boot that's still coffee colored). Yes I used a lot of water. Yes I used just two drops of solution. Yes I was going easy because the brush is stiff. No, I did not "try it on a small inconspicuous area first" I oiled the heck out of them and they're about 50% better. Good enough for work boots. If this had happened to my dress boots I'd be livid. As is, I'm annoyed by being duped by all the 5 star reviews.
