EDIT - Awesome food processor - FOR 6 MONTHS ONLY
I love this food processor! It's nice to not have to spin everything to get it to lock. Looks really sturdy. I like that everything (the grating plate and blade too) store in the unit so I don't have to worry about storing them anywhere. The cord is short, like on most kitchen appliances, but there's a cubby it tucks into. The suction cup feet keep it in place even on a wet counter. I LOVE that it came in a plain cardboard box without a ton of extra packaging. It was packaged securely, but I wasn't having to fill up my trash with styrofoam or plastic bits. Only issue I had was initially taking it apart. The blade inside the machine was stuck and I was nervous to just pull at first. Made sure there wasn't a button or anything from the owner's manual, then just gave it a good yank. It came out and looked like the plastic packaging had gotten it stuck on good. So you can just pull that out, just be careful because it's SUPER sharp.
EDIT: So I've used this for 6 months. Great on almost everything, but today I went to shred white chocolate, and it broke! The plastic piece that holds the grating blade in place just snapped (see photo). It surprised me since I've grated and sliced potatoes, carrots, even tough squash. I send an email to Hamilton Beach since it has a 1-year warranty, but like most small appliances, the warranty specifies that the customer has to pay for shipping to and from the company, AND I'll be out a food processor for Christmas baking season. REALLY disappointed this didn't last longer. Heck, my mom's food processor is older than I am and still going strong!
