They fanboyed it.
If the intro to the UK got you into it this; the new US version takes out back and beats with a 2 by 4 why you cry for it to stop.
non of that primal music or mysterious into that the UK one gets you hooked into and holds on through the first few minutes of the intro that continues on through the season.
First few minutes is literally OMG GUYS they brought it back won't it be great to as a sequel to the dystopia comics that some couple found in their grandpa's hoarders house. OMG.
I may try and finish the first episode later but it just isn't even close to the same spark as the UK version and Kills the mood.
