I love these treats ordinarily -- this review is about this particular package of Zuke's treats - my first time ordering these online. These treats are supposed to be semi-soft, but these treats are hard and somewhat crumbly. The expiration date is ok (over a year from now), so I assume that there was either a leak in the packaging or something about how these treats were stored that has made them dried out (and stale?) like this. It took me a while to open up the package since I still had some left, otherwise I would return these! Maybe these packages are rejects, hence the good price. -- I'm getting these at a local store from now on, where I can try squish a treat through the packaging to test it.
