Feels solid but it falls apart quickly!
It feels well made but don't let the heavy weight of it fool you into believing it's sturdy. It's not. I'm 5'10 165lbs. I ride it in the city and not like a maniac and it's pretty much destroyed. I've owned mine for 2 years and have put just about 250 miles on it, which isn't that much over that amount of time. All the plastic pieces that have screws in them are literally breaking apart and disintegrating. You can't tighten anything because the plastic it is supposed to hold on to just crumbles. The knee bar is toast. The four screws around the red triangle piece have all fallen out do to the plastic crumbling and breaking apart. The lights on back have fallen off due to the plastic around the screws crumbling. I bought it when it first came out and paid far more for it than it is priced now and expected to be able to use it for many years. After the first year it quickly started degrading. You can't just drill a hole in thin plastic and stick a screw in it and expect it to hold when there is all much strain put on it from a person's weight and riding it around. BUT that's what segway has done all around the minipro.
