Let me preface my review by saying that I did not expect the bread to taste like the bread I buy from the store. However, with so many positive reviews, I felt I had to try it (goal is to make low carb a lifestyle). The bread arrived, well packaged, and neat. I immediately placed them in the fridge as recommended. When I decided to try it the following day, I followed the advice to toast it. Upon taking a rather large bite, to my chagrin, my tastebuds were assaulted by what tasted like sawdust. The fact that toasting the bread to eat with my eggs and bacon did NOTHING to improve its taste was disheartening. Both loaves went into the trash. I thought it cruel to serve it to the birds.
