Paled by The Source Field Investigations
This book is a minor work compared to David Wilcock's The Source Field Investigations: The Hidden Science and Lost Civilizations Behind the 2012 Prophecies. Simply, this is a New Age book, part shallow survey of studies, part invented 'deep truths'. From the book: "Deep Truth One: Our ability to defuse the crises threatening our lives and our world hinges upon our willingness to accept what science is revealing about our origins and history." It's sounding like the book wants us to follow science the way folks followed the church for centuries and that resulted in the Dark Ages. Science is still clinging with white knuckles to the linear evolution, 'we are the best ever', crossing the Siberian land bridge, and all that malarkey. And just because some studies are bucking the trend does not mean you should give your power away to ANY institution to just follow blindly. In this book you are not being taught how to think. If you want to pickup a deep truth it is this, to thine own self be true, trust your own insights, not papers (or books) written by others who have agenda (or books) to sell. Is it a deep truth to realize that science and government are not disclosing what they really know about our past or anything else really? Nope. If there is money to be made or other agendas to fulfill then truth will be kept under tight wraps. The Disclosure Project, Graham Hancock, David Wilcock, and especially Nassim Haremein, all point to deeper conclusions. Collating some of your own conclusions by reading others research neither constitutes a good book or deep truth. . . "Deep Truth 3: The key to addressing the crises threatening our survival lies in building partnerships based upon mutual aid and cooperation to adapt to the changes, rather than in pointing fingers and assigning blame, which makes such vital alliances difficult." Ok, that's better, but is that a 'Deep Truth'? Didn't your mother teach you that growing up? When I think Deep Truth, I think universal truth. There is no deep truth in this book. This book is some kind of preachy manifesto as to what is wrong from the viewpoint of science intersecting social trends. This isn't even in the authors core audience demographic. If the book is trying to make a socio-political statement then the title needs to be more specific like 'My ideas for making the world a better place'. You are not getting into deep truths in this book. At it's best the highest talk in this book is kinda like a light advertisement from mega trend books from 1980s like Future Shock, The Third Wave, and Megatrends: Ten New Directions Transforming Our Lives. . . "Deep Truth 2: The reluctance of the mainstream educational systems to reflect new discoveries and explore new theories keeps us stuck in obsolete beliefs that fail to address the greatest crises of human history." From Future Shock (back in 1984): "It would be a mistake to assume that the present-day educational system is unchanging. On the contrary, it is undergoing rapid change. But much of this change is no more than an attempt to refine the existing machinery, making it ever more proficient in the pursuit of obsolete goals. The rest is a kind of Brownian motion, self-canceling, incoherent, directionless." The above was written in the mid-1980s. And now something known as common place from nearly 30 years ago as a new found 'Deep Truth' ?! C'mon. . . If you like Alberto Villoldo, Wayne Dwyer, and other similar Hay House authors you might like this book. [Alberto's books are better than this.] But if you are looking for some real information it's not really here. If you want to be blown away by a volume of real research then David's The Source Field Investigations: The Hidden Science and Lost Civilizations Behind the 2012 Prophecies will make this book look like a rushed outline. If you want some serious insights into past civilizations then Joseph Farrell has crafted a fine a detailed survey here The Grid of the Gods: The Aftermath of the Cosmic War and the Physics of the Pyramid Peoples If you are just getting into metaphysics and have never read this book then there are really deep truths waiting here The Universe Is a Green Dragon: A Cosmic Creation Story If you want solid information from physics that challenges paradigms then you should spent time with Nassim Haremein as in Black Whole. If you want deep truths from a Native American perspective then these are among the best Being and Vibration and Sound: Native Teachings and Visionary Art of Joseph Rael You should also check out books by Vicky Anderson like this one The Expansion: A Philosophy of Consciousness, Creation and Rebirth
