Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I must say I should have read more reviews, but most I read were glowing. So I got them. I should have perhaps read more about the plots and such, but I don't like to read spoilers. First book...last thing I want to read about is gang-bangers/rappers/murderers/druggies/race riots. I've read about that sort of thing enough over the years. I thought perhaps the second book would be better. Oh for pete sake Cuidad Juarez??? Meth factories/cartels that run them/be-headings Murder Capital of the WORLD. Not interested. He talks about their failed economy because the outsourcers have moved on to China where labor is even cheaper, and the horrid living conditions of factory workers...but then the Brit gets a job for 10 bucks an hour as a fry cook? Dirty filthy raunchy restaurant that tourist buses stop at??? Unreal. And there is an American working there as well. Unreal. I guess the author hasn't heard they don't give those kinds of jobs to gringo's in Mexico. I'm giving these away.
