This was purchased in March 2016 to hold a Curt carrier and a bike rack. The bike rack had 2 bikes and the carrier held bulky items that would not fit in the vehicle. 05-15-16 while driving North on I-95 in VA fellow motorists alerted us that the hitch had failed. Fortunately no one was injured. The hitch had broken in half and was dragging the carrier and bike rack on the pavement. I contacted Amazon and they provided a refund on both the carrier and the hitch even though they were outside of the return policy. Kudos to Amazon. I strongly recommend that you avoid this particular dual hitch.
