Fail. Sadly this is a failure
I took a chance, and why not right? Sounds good on paper, maybe even makes sense in the lab, but in reality, this combination just does not work. It makes sense to me now that I've tried it, but had to experience it personally to really know. The caffeine part is fine, for me lasted about two hours and I wasn't actually jittery free here and I'm a regular coffee drinker but did seems to give a boost of energy, I felt I was talking more and more focused with the words I choose. Then as the caffeine started to wear off, the L-Theanine started to kick in, and I mean kick in hard. So you know, L-Theanine is an amino acid that is known for its calming effects. In this case, so calming that I had to take a nap. So the part where it says "no crash", please, I crashed harder with this than if I had just drunk two or three cups of strong coffee. It makes sense, both components metabolize in the body at different rates, not at the same time as they have you believe. Your results may differ, but if you do try, make sure you can find a place to sleep if you have the same experience. Really, I wasn't able to function until I closed my eyes for a bit and let the L-Theanine works its course.
