Beware of a company with poor customer service. I question the source and quality of this product’s ingredients. Their phone number doesn’t work, you are on hold all day if you’d like. I sent 8 emails and even messaged them on Facebook all with a simple question, “ Where are your ingredients sourced from?”. They refuse to answer my question or acknowledge me at all. Since the cost is cheap buyer beware. They have yet to respond and I have been trying to get an answer to my question for 6 weeks. I recently found out that some companies source their HCL and Pepsin from Aspergillus Niger aka MOLD. Aspergillus Niger can make a sensitive person sick!! There is not a lot of info out there on this, but it’s extremely horrible for a persons heslth to ingest. Also as a side note, lots of pet companies foods and supplements are full of Aspergillus Niger. My advice : avoid this at all costs. I started out strong w this supplement but after a couple of weeks started to become beyond lethargic after taking this. I don’t know if it’s due to the poor ingredients,such as Aspergillus Niger, or if I have a sensitivity to Pepsin...and since the company won’t respond I do not know for sure. I just ordered HCL from Douglas Laboratories. It’s pricey but they are a reputable company. I plan on contacting them tomorrow to find out where they source their ingredients from. Will update when I have. I’m not sure if I am sensitive to Pepsin- my muscle testing says that I am- so I will be trying out Douglas Lab HCL with no Pepsin tomorrow. I gave this product one star because as a small business owner myself I absolutely pride myself in excellent customer service and find it extremely annoying that this company has such a great label “gmo Free” “ gluten free” and such poor customer service. None of their labeling and claims matter much to me if they source their product from mold ( Aspergillus Niger). FYI NOW brand HCL w Pepsin comes from Aspergillus Niger. Good luck to everyone out there, need to watch what products you ingest. Knowledge is power.
