Unfortunately we had to use the protection plan (that thankfully I bought) after only 8 months because it started doing weird things. It would shut off on its own. Sometimes it baked or heated up great and sometimes it barely warned things on the same setting. It was really frustrating. I don't think it was a fluke though, to be honest. I think it's just not made well. Edited: The protection plan I bought had been useless. I've filed the claim over and over and called over and over. I've even tried calling Toshiba bcs technically it's still under manufacturer warranty and neither get anywhere. This has turned into something so frustrating!!! I just want a refund at this point! I bought the warranty for this large metal box that does nothing but take up space in my house. It's infuriating. Amazon does not hold itself to the same standard they expect from 3rd party sellers.
