This was a replacement for a 2007 Samsung widescreen that had served me well. I got the Q6F for the excellent picture and clean design, but have been disappointed by Samsung's bloatware (you can't remove) and the annoying interface. The ambient mode backgrounds are a joke. It also repopulates the LiveTV app no matter how many times I remove it. Every time I turn on the TV it's right back at the top of my apps like a cruel joke. That would have been annoying, but tolerable, except that Samsung then started showing me ads on the home screen - that you can't turn off. I was livid. I didn't drop over $1000 to be forced to watch ads and gag on Samsung's bloatware. This will be the last Samsung product I buy. And that's a darn shame, because they make quality hardware. Until they accept that no one wants to be forced to scroll past the ruins of their failed software and agree to let people de-clutter so consumers can browse an interface to their taste, I will gladly spend hundreds more for another manufacturer that respects that. Edit: About the quality hardware. I'm 20ft from my wifi router, but the internet only works 20% of the time. I've been on multiple support calls with Samsung to no avail. I'm borderline ready to return it when it takes 20-40 minutes of messing with settings to try watch TV every time. It's a nice picture, but try a different brand. Honestly.
