I bought this oven a couple of years ago - and it's been great EXCEPT for the fact that after about 18 months, the door would no longer close all the way. I had to use a bungee cord to hold it. I did some research and figured out the issue was with the design of the guide that connects the door to the door closure switch. This affects both the door closing, and the timer working. I reached out to Breville to see if I could get the part - they wanted me to ship back the oven and pay $160! Plenty of youtube videos out there talking about this issue, Breville should sell the part to make it right - but they won't. I figured out my own fix and posted in the attached video. Seems to be working well now - but this is definitely a 'planned obsolescence' sort of design flaw.
