The description says “any flat surface less than 3" thick upon your imagination“. My bed is 2 1/4” and the clamp is no more than 2”. Update. I just received an email from the seller. He didn’t like my review. He said the description clearly states that it’s for service of 1.8 inches and I corrected him by telling him that it says it will fit a service of less than 3 inches. He emailed me back and told me those measurements were for the older model. How on earth would anybody know that’s for the older model? I told him instead of editing my review to be more favorable perhaps he needs to edit his description to be more accurate.
