I purchased this set at Costco last month thinking I would easily be able to bake (like in the picture) something simple, like brownies. I read the instructions before using any of the products. As a first use I made some brownies in the large rectangle container, and the one smaller rectangle dish. I placed the glassware dishes directly on the wire rack in my pre-heated oven. after 55 minutes in the convection over at 325F I removed the dishes from the oven and placed them on the warm glass cooktop range(its the same unit so the oven makes the glass top warm). The small one did fine setting down very gently as the range is glass too. I set the larger dish on the cook top and about 1 second after setting it down on the glass top it literally exploded out one side hitting my wife with glass shards 2-3 feet away. We both stood there a moment in absolute shock. We have several pyrex dishes that we have used for the last 8 years making brownies, lasagna, eggplant parmesan, roasted meat and potatoes. you name it. no explosions. i've even accidentally dropped hot pyrex before and NEVER had them break. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone, especially anyone with kids.
