My callipers keep glitching out. Sliding outward works fine at first, but if I try to narrow the gap, the numbers start jumping all over the place- and the measurements become totally innacurate. I've checked that's its not a low battery, and I've never had this issue with other digital calipers, maybe mine is defective. I'm sad because its so slow to use these without messing up the reading, I might as well go back to a ruler.
