Unbelievable story written at a middle school level
I'm shocked this book has high ratings. The writing was immature and character development lacking. The book was NOT even about the twins and more about their daughters and the separate lives they lived, which were nothing new (rich girl in Beverly Hills vs. starving student aspiring to go to med school). The character relationships were so basic and boring and poorly thought out - it seemed like a something a middle school student would write in terms of the interactions/emotions.
Finally, (SPOILER): the fact that Stella confessed living a double life to her daughter at the very end and they all just agreed not to tell her husband/father was absurd and so unbelievable that I almost threw the book in the trash.
