I don't know how this product is so highly rated, but all 3 of the oils possess a strong taste of chemicals. I have tried other truffle oils before and this was exactly the problem I was afraid of happening when purchasing this oil set. While there are pieces of real truffle at the bottom of each bottle, it does absolutely nothing for the chemical taste that comes with these oils. The aroma is nice, which is why I gave this product 2 stars. However, if you are looking for 100% real truffle oil, I do not believe this is where you should be looking. I am certain that these oils contain 2,4-dithiapentane in order to accentuate the truffle taste. If you are looking for a real truffle oil, i would recommend Eugenio Brezzi or Tartufi Morra from Alba (Tartufalba). Would not purchase again.
