Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I spent a solid hour looking at reviews of wire cheese cutters, because I love the aesthetic. I hate to introduce another unitasker to my kitchen countertop, but a knife is slow and the handheld cheese cutters aren't a lot better. Every single wire-based cheese cutter is terribly reviewed. I thought, perhaps, the excellent reviews on this one, despite its hideous plastic base, meant that it would cut cheese amazingly. It does not. Picture attached. I will be disposing of it entirely once I post this review. Thank you for nothing!
