This filter has done nothing for my hard water, I mean nothing. It's like not having a filter at all for hard water. I was convinced that I was doing the right thing after switching from salt based softener to Nuvo. I was totally wrong. I have had it for 1.5 years now as my plumber said to give it time. I now need a new water softener and a new plumber. What a waste of money I spent on this system and labor costs from my plumber. I wish I had read all the reviews online before buying this system. If you have very hard water, please save yourself the money and frustration and don't buy Nuvo products.
