Have two other HurryCanes, both work fine. Bought this one and the elastic is so loose only minimal shaking would make the middle section slide out of the top section and cause the cane to fold. Also it makes the cane rattle due to looseness. This is dangerous as the middle section is prone to coming out, it could come out when you are trying to walk or go down steps. Then you'd fall and get injured. Only an act of incompetence let this quality control failure out of the factory. I've only handled 2 other HurryCanes and I felt it immediately. That means their quality control, which handles way more than that every day felt the defect and let it out anyways. Furthermore, there is damage on the size adjust button, a missing hole plug in the handle, and damage on the internal grommet the elastic runs through that makes be believe this was a defect return that someone sent back out to be sold as new. Can't trust this product or company if they do this kind of thing. Replacement: The replacement that was sent was also similarly defective. Except the elastic was even looser. Please skip this product if you care for your loved ones safety and well-being. HurryCane is now building their canes on the cheap and cannot even be bothered to source good elastic.
