Amazon stopped supporting OneNote. For some OneNote was the primary reason to buy the Kindle Fire. Having the best notetaking app available on the Fire platform made it a great device. Now I would highly recommend that professionals and students dependent on MS office's OneNote boycott Amazon Kindle Fire. Not cool to lose this functionality.
