I spent several weeks looking for a replacement for an older laptop. Finally picked this one. Took it out of box, plugged it in, turned it on, and was greeted with a black screen and an error code telling me that fan was not working. Contacted HP and for troubleshooting. Was told it was a hard ware issue and I could it to them for 25 dollar fee or have a tech company to my home for an initial fee of 49 dollars to diagnose the issue. Contacted Amazon and was immediately told to return it free of charge. So now the hunt is on for a new laptop.
