I bought the Cuisinart coffeemaker several years ago in a local department store. I loved it and had absolutely no issues with it. Therefore, when it was time to buy a new coffeemaker I decided to purchase the identical coffeemaker through Amazon (July 1, 2017) since I couldn't find one in any of the local department stores. Initially, it was great but then the carafe started leaking at the seam. More recently, when I fill the coffee filter basket with coffee and turn the coffeemaker on the coffee clogs, creating a mess on my kitchen counter. Needless to say, I will not be buying another Cuisinart coffeemaker.
