Caution may be dangerously unable to measure safe water
I fear these test strips go beyond useless into the dangerous territory. For example the EPA recommends as a goal that water contain ZERO lead, but the "Maximum Contaminant Level" is 0.015 mg/L. These test strips start with one color for "zero" and a slightly different color for "20 mg/L". My concern is I can barely see the difference between safe water and water that is OVER ONE THOUSAND TIMES THE EPA LIMIT!
When I wrote to the manufacturer requesting clarification they replied that they were working on an update to their manual (not included with the test strips). So I guess they rushed a product to market that has only one purpose -- to determine if water is safe -- before finishing their research on how to measure safe water!
