The packaging is either wrong or misleading here. This is not 2.5 quarts. I was shocked at the size of the bag upon arrival and immediate measured it out. I measured roughly 6 cups which is only slightly more than half the quantity on packaging. 2.5 dry quarts=11.64 cups. The listed weight on amazon is accurate. There is not much dust in the bag, the packaging was undamaged, and as you can see in the photo, the pumice appears to be mostly intact and uniform. I don't think this was caused by breaking/compression of the pumice.
