one lousy LAN connection per module...
This will be going back because it is absolutely useless to me. There is only one LAN connection on the back of the main router to connect peripherals. I have three devices currently connected and this won't work. So in order to make this work you'd need to buy more equipment. I didn't pay this kind of money to have to go buy more crap to make it work.
Update: 10/23/20
I ended up buying a switch for the hardwired devices but this thing is still garbage. It drops connections randomly on different devices and then will not recognize them until you reboot the device that lost connection or otherwise disable and then re-enable wifi. I've called tech support and when I actually get someone (last wait was
4 hours total, 1 1/2 on the first call which disconnected as soon as I get to the tech, and then 2 1/2 hours more on the call back which I finally gave up on waiting) and get someone who barely speaks English who assures me they will fix the problem. I've called since the first week and now they tell me the unit is out of warranty and they keep wanting to charge me for support. I tell them that this is the same ticket and same problem the last guy promised he would fix. Never was I offered a replacement under warranty or anything. Just people poking remotely into my router and never fixing a thing. Netgear is absolute junk and is a waste of money as far as I'm concerned. And then their "out of warranty" scam... they should be in jail.
