I was *so* excited to install a wifi-native SmartLock (which sounds strange when you write it out). I pre-ordered this, installed it the day it arrived, and have had nothing but trouble with it since. First, I have a solid wifi setup in my house. Multiple access points (Unifi) with the nearest ~20 feet from the installed door. Despite it's proximity, the wifi signal was too weak, and I was forced to make wifi changes (increase signal power) to get the lock to even connect. Note: this is the only device (IoT or otherwise) on my network having issues. Nonetheless, I resolved that problem, and the app now reports solid connectivity. Maybe 10 days after I got the lock installed, the batteries died. Ok, cheap batteries that were maybe sitting around...I'll order a pack of 6 new batteries...that'll last me a year. WRONG. I've had to replace the batteries roughly every week. The lock is supposed to give me a warning when the batteries are low, but instead it's just been dropping offline. I've written to support, gotten automated/AI responses, leading to bar none the worst product experience I've ever had. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
