Skip this for sure. My wife got me one and 2 more as gifts for Xmas. I tried it for 3 day (about 24 beers) and just couldn't help but notice how it was the same as not having the keeper... So just today i desided to do a test. I opened 2 aluminum Michelobs. Grabbed my digital thermometer and checked them. Both had the same temp. I left them both on my table next to each other, one in the bottle keeper, both open. I checked them every 10 minutes. 10 minutes they bith had the same temp. 20 minutes the Bottle Keeper was 1.3 degrees cooler. 40 minutes the Bottle Keeper was 4.3 degrees cooler. Who the hell takes 40 minutes per beer anyways? Its a big flop and people should stay away from this product. Maybe it would be different if I used the lid to close it after every drink. But... The string on the lid is so annoying that it makes it a chore to open and close. Not worth it..
