Good in concept, poor in execution
The design's idea was respectable, but it has a fundamental flaw. One's grip is not perfectly parallel with the axis that one's wrist bends at. The grip-bar was perfectly parallel for the axis which articulates the end piece... and therefore, when you bend it, it "more or less" twists your wrist in an uncomfortable way. I could imagine that extended use with this device would result in great stress/injury.
In other words... when you grasp it normally, one's pinky is touching the bar at the TIP of the finger, and the index finger is touching the bar right at the "knuckle" area of the palm. The bar should be resting at the "knuckle" area of the palm for EVERY finger. Otherwise, it twists the hand (in order to get proper grip).
