What the reviews are not telling you about this mat is a problem with its main function, yes it's made well, feels thick and plush on your feet, but, it does not handle water well ! after you get it wet the water just seems to float on its surface, it's like you could take a squeegee and dry it off, I thought maybe it was just the fact that I was using it after my wife got out of the shower, and it felt like I was stepping in a puddle of water, and cold because it's on the floor, but no, same thing happened when I took the first shower, it will make a great in front of the sink mat, but I'm going to have to find something better for an actual bath mat
