Huge safety / design flaw in this vacuum. Regarding endura bagless upright I purchased this vacuum to replace our long time bissell pet hair pro. There is a huge safety and design flaw with this vacuum. Most vacuums don't start roller rotation until the upright is released. This vacuum continues rotating when the hand tool is in use and the vacuum is upright. This has resulted in damage to a carpet when the roller kept going when the wand was in use and the vacuum stayed in one place, more importantly, this caused BRUISING and burning on my leg! I needed to use the hand tool to clean the seats of my vehicle, but knew if I left the vacuum standing upright on the ground it would suck up grass and dirt, so I laid it down across my front seat to stretched the hand tool over to the passenger seat. I accidentally stepped too closely and the brush abraded my leg through my pants! I cannot imagine what would have happened if my three-year-old step too closely or one of my children walked over. The bristles should not be rotating unless the lever is released
