The Dyson V10 is not all what it seems. According to Dyson, the V10 on medium power has approximately 33 air watts of power and lasts about 37minutes of run time. The vacuum only lasts approximately 60 minutes ( without a power attachment ) on low power which is a paltry 16 Air watts of power. By comparison the Dyson V8 on its low power has approximately 28 watts of air power and lasts about 40 minutes. So the new V10 and the V8 have approximately the same run time and same power rating on the only settings that make sense using. The V8 low setting is about the same power rating as the V10 medium setting. Why would anyone use the V10’s lowest power rating of 16 air watts, even if the lowest setting gives more time. True the V10 highest power setting gets an astonishing 150 Air watts but the run time is only around 8 minutes and some reviews say it doesn’t even last that long. Dyson’s new V10 is no better than the older V8 at the only power settings that matter.
