I had really high hopes for this and really wanted to love it. I promise I am not being dramatic or embellishing anything in writing this review, this was truly my experience. I followed all of the steps as described on the box (see photo) and I am in an incredible amount of pain. I used it gently but enough to see it removing hair (but it still didn’t remove all the hair). It didn’t hurt at all while I was using it but after I got out of the shower and dried my legs, they felt raw. Then I did the 4th step on the box, apply lotion. It felt like I had set my legs ON FIRE. I used lotion with eucalyptus, Cerave unscented for sensitive skin, and Aloe and ALL of them burned really badly (this is when I took the photos). A few hours have passed and now my legs are swollen and have huge red raised blotches all over and they look much worse than the photos. It’s the equivalent of sanding your skin with sandpaper. It feels like I have severe carpet burn everywhere I used this. It took a lot longer than shaving and DID NOT remove all the hair. The hair removal is very patchy. I wish I had returned it, but my return window closed yesterday :( This may be a good tool to use on rough dead skin on feet when doing home pedicures, but I haven’t tested that.
