This can looks great, but performance is terrible. Using the push down handle is a waste of time. Certainly is not as easily done as they show! The petal you step on to open lid works great, however the lid does not open wide enough to empty somethings, also is a bit of a pain when trying to get bag out to throw away. I tried their bag that came with it ( which of course means now PAYING for bags you will have to ORDER ) didn’t make much difference on how it worked. Started using hefty trash bags in it and give up using the push down handle. It also can become a challenge getting the bag back out sometimes. The worst part is actually that it holds very LITTLE! When you do get the trash bag out it has so much more room that I go all over the rest of my house trying to fill it up so I don’t WASTE a bag. I use Hefty tall kitchen bags, you would think it would at least hold that.
