I bought this during a sale to replace a hand crank spiralizer and found that it was a waste of money. I found that it works best as an apple peeler to make a big batch of apple pie or apple crisp. But for zucchini, it will only accept small diameter zuccs and squashes that you find in the grocery store, and if you grow bigger ones like most gardeners have, you have to cut them in to quarters first. Then, the worst part is that I had very little success in getting it to spiralize fresh zucchinis without the end that rotates inside of the zuccs stripping everything out and just absolutely squishing everything. It just doesn't handle fresh, juicy and soft veggies. If you are doing loads of apples and potatoes, this will be fine, otherwise for fresh veggies like zucchinis go with a manual hand crank. The manual ones can handle larger diameter veggies and you can make the quick adjustments to ensure they spiralize well. I paid for this product and wasn't compensated in any way for this review.
