I purchased this kettle on the sole basis that the post says that its patented technology boils water faster... Well, I had a $12 kettle before this and it boiled just as fast so I don't know how much faster, if any, this boils. I like the look and feel, it also pours well too. We will see how long it lasts. July 31st *UPDATE* How does rust form on something that is made from supposed "culinary grade" aluminum??? Tried cleaning it away and that didn't work. I am really disappointed now. I have used it a total of 6 times and I am already shopping for another one... Aug 3rd... I have found 3 more spots of rust inside this thing and have a replacement on the way. I doubt the new one will rust less but we will see. This is ridiculous, I had my last one for over a year with ZERO rust and this one rusts in less than a week?
