The coffee grinder sits above the basket of grounds, causing all the steam to rise directly into the grinder. Every pot of coffee causes a wet, terrible mess in the grinder (which of course needs to be totally dry to start a new pot). After a couple of months I got tired of cleaning the grinder and resorted to buying g ground coffee. Also the grinder is small and I like strong coffee, so I can only make half a pot through the grinder. I’m posting some pics of the condensate left in the wet grinder.
