I have learned my lesson to review all of the product information before looking at the product reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't see until after my purchase arrived that it has a Proposition 65 warning, which you will find when you scroll down to Product Details. This means that the state of Califormia has evaluated this product and the warning for this product is: WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. I have found other products that are USDA certified organic and non-gmao that do NOT have this warning, so it's not a given for turmeric.
