Great looking watch and I wish it worked. I like the style, the band, the case, etc. It's exactly what I was looking for, however.... First watch arrived in what appeared to be used condition. While the outside shipping box was in perfect shape, the timex box inside the bigger box looked like it had been opened and the watch was not on the plastic pedestal that comes with the packaging. Upon inspection the watch date and time were already set to eastern standard time; further inspection revealed the illumination feature was broken. I assume this was returned, not inspected, and resent out to me on accident. I contacted amazon, sent the watch back, and they mailed me a new one on a rush order. Watch #2 arrived in perfect shape. It was on the pedestal and it had a little plastic guard on the stem between the crown and the case which was a promising sign! On Day 2 I noticed the date was off by one day so I assumed I set the watch up incorrectly and didn't have it on the right cycle for am/pm. Fast forward a few days later and now the watch isn't holding time. Today it is 30 mins slower than the actual time. While I am not sure when this happened I know it happened within the past 24 hours. It really makes me question if these are legitimate Timex watches or if they are knock offs?
