The HP Ritual to set up a printer is flawed. Their go-to page to set up an account (a requirement before you can print) was inaccessible. I Googled HP Account and tried to set up an account, but when I was not allowed to correct my email address, I used their Virtual Assistant which had me going in circles for an hour, all the while refusing to connect me to a real person. I found an HP ph number, but the guy sent me to a dead-end telling me I have to sign in before they will talk to me. After 3 hours of trying to get my new printer to work, I had no options left, so, I packed it up and returned it. I never did like HP's spying on how I used my old printers. Who knows what else they put their nose in to. Making the change to Canon.
