I wish I could give this ridiculous piece of tripe negative stars. I've been VERY VERY poor, and it was awful. I had no back up, I was so young and completely alone. This person has really never known the horrible fear of being completely alone, (oh, sorry, I had an infant to care for)... however, she's in a league of her own when it comes to blaming and whining. Whoa. She MAY be insane. She calls rich people " stupid rich people" or " rich idiots. " I'll bet she hopes she never gets rich then! Right? She doesn't bother to vote. Why should she? THAT IS A QUOTE. Why is she so poor? Her husband was in Iraq! However, the VA keeps "screwing them over." WHAT? The VA is doing this to her...why? ? They "know they made a mistake"' the VA, but they just won't correct it! Imagine that. Poor HER. Now, get ready, because if you do not heed my warning, and you but this "book", you'll read, in EVERY chapter, that she SMOKES! She never stops trying to justify why she does it. I don't care. However, she sure does. Here's some advice, and it's free. Quit! You really won't die or risk losing all the cruddy jobs you keep landing. This woman's attitude makes SNL' s "Debbie Downer" look like Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm. She's such a buzzkill; and how she's managed to stay married I'll never know, unless her husband's a "victim" just like she is. How DOES a person like this, with her single minded hatred (jealousy) for rich people, get published, when there must be truly gifted writers who deserve to be read... writers who aren't so full of filthy words, needlessly written over and over again, writers who can contribute something, instead of playing the blame game over and over. I cannot believe how much I grew to detest a person I don't even know. It must be because her hate just flew off the page, and it's so upsetting. Not the " poor" part, I've been there. It's her toxic attitude, her vitriol, that is overpowering. Guess what Linda? You made so many bad choices, over and over, and you refused to learn from your mistakes. It's not a good idea to flip off your boss, or call in sick when you're not. Oh, or just not show up. Linda has an excuse/person to blame for EVERYTHING!!! I'm not going to waste MY time writing anymore. Go to YouTube and watch her gripe and ramble. She is STILL walking around with rotten teeth and an infected mouth. She might want to look into getting that taken care of; or maybe she just wants to spend her money on getting more tattoos or buying cigarettes. What a terrible book. Just don't encourage her. I hope she just fades away. Ugh.
