We were so excited to receive this glass pitcher. With a slotted stainless steel lid, it was exactly what we were looking for. That excited was short-lived, however, as we got exactly ONE use out of this pitcher. Filled it with filtered water; let it refrigerate overnight. Added crushed ice to it to keep the water cold during lunch and we watched in disbelief as the glass splintered and water began to seep all over the table. We didn't handle the pitcher roughly - Quite the contrary. Yet, after just one use, the pitcher was broken and completely useless to us. Needless to say, we're sending it back for a refund along with another pitcher that we're afraid to even try. Do not buy this pitcher.
