We bought the 3.5L and 5.5L Tramontina Dutch ovens in 2017. We have had Le Creuset products in the past and loved them, but wanted to try something different. We treat these things gently -- no metal utensils, no scrubbing with anything but plastic scrubbers, no cooking anything dry that might scorch. And had I written this review soon after we bought the Tramontina vessels, I would have given them good ratings. But now, two years in, the enamel inside the Tramontina 3.5 is worn off, making the pot all but useless, and I assume the 5.5 is not far behind. Along with the ruining of the Dutch ovens, one has to ask: Where has that enamel gone? Into our soups, that's where, and into us. The description here on Amazon touts a "Lifetime Warranty." I tried reaching Tramontina's customer service, and they never replied, didn't even the courtesy to respond. Sorry I can't give the company minus stars.
