I bought 2 of these because I had a set from Costco that I loved but I keep a few different types of flour on hand and needed more big ones. I'm not exactly sure when it happened, but it's now 4 months after I bought these and they've both lost their seal. The Costco ones are several years old and don't have this problem. When I push the button down, the top is not sealed to the container as it should be. I included a video to help visualize.
