Lives up to the hype
It’s really bad. The reliance on CGI is frustrating but it’s the direction Hollywood is determined to go in. I wonder what a Tom Savini could’ve done with a project like this? The fun of the character isn’t his wispy ability to float around, it’s his terrifying face. But even in that context, characters in the movie were barely bothered by a monster.
