UPDATE with FIX!!! : I bought another one of these at Lowes today while I wait for my two replacements from Amazon. It didn't fit either! So I decided to cut off the third "tooth" since my current filter that I took out showed this tooth as deformed by the force required to shove it in the fridge receptacle. I figured it wasn't needed and it isn't. Yay, it now fits. Wow, this has made me thirsty!!! original: I re-buy this exact item over and over. This last time I bought 2 filters and neither of them fit. The box looks the same and the only difference I can see between the old one I took out and the new one is that there is a thicker ring of plastic on part of it. I don't want to use a knife and make it fit though. I'm going to try buying one at Sears tomorrow. In the mean time, I have replacements ordered from Amazon.
