I wanted to love this pendant light from the moment I pulled it out of the package. It was well packaged and heavy (a good sign for a glass pendant light). Unfortunately, the "hand blown" globe that's made in China has an ugly seam that runs through the glass on (see pics below). For the price and "hand blown" description, I would expect at least a solid globe that didn't have a big seam that looks like it was machine pressed. I would have returned it if not for the hours of hassle installing it in our Victorian townhouse ceiling. Product would be 5 stars but for the sub-quality manufacturing which makes for a cheap appearance. Perhaps I got a defective light but unless you want a big ugly seam that detracts from the fixture itself, shop elsewhere.
