I have always loved Kitchen Aid products, I have been using them for twenty years. So when I saw this red one on sale I knew I had to have it for my new kitchen. I gave my white Kitchen Aid to my daughter in law bc her kitchen is white and it is still like the day I bought it 5 yes ago. So when I received my package I was very excited, UNTIL I open the box! There was no packaging to protect the machine, no instructions booklet, it was all very disappointed bc obviously this was a return. I thought I made a mistake and purchased a refurbished machine. So I washed and set up the machine IT DIDN'T WORK!!! I had everything lined up correctly, so I tried on another outlet, same results! So I checked my order and indeed I had purchased a brand new unit, NOT a refurbished model. I was so angry? I almost didn't order a replacement. I took a chance and contacted Amazon and of course they sent out a new one and had UPS pick up the bad machine free of charge I received the replacement today, I'm so happy now, the unit is brand new with everything proceed, even packaged different than the first and had the necessary booklet and warranty paperwork. This one works perfectly!
